Nobody likes way too much fine print. So we’ve aimed to keep these short and simple, while still making the most important parts easy to understand. If you are unsure about anything, please email us your questions prior to payment, so that you can have clarity from us in writing beforehand.

By purchasing a gift card from Circa Nada Entertainment Inc. prior to the "point of no return" as outlined below, you inherently agree to the following terms and conditions: 

You understand that the goal of Circa Nada Entertainment Inc. in selling advance-purchase gift cards is to demonstrate to its financial institution, the province, and the city, that is has your ultimate interest and engagement in the form of an advance purchase, which also adds additional confidence and security in the form of guaranteed cash flow after the date of grand opening.

The ‘point of no return’ refers to the date and time at which any funds being held in savings from advance purchases will be irreversibly converted into a 100% non-refundable Circa Nada gift card(s) with no redeemable cash value except for goods and services at Circa Nada.

We will email you 30 calendar days prior to the ‘point of no return’ to inform you of your final date and time to request a refund, including two more notices by email at 14 & 3 days prior. You agree that no response from you to these emails should be interpreted by us as you not wanting a refund and therefore to proceed with issuing your gift card(s).

The 'point of no return' is most likely to happen in early or mid-2026, once we have determined our scheduled day of grand opening. We will announce the 'point of no return' as early as possible and with the aim of setting its date as close to grand opening as possible. Currently this is subject to municipal, provincial and bank approval and cannot be determined at this time.

You should expect to receive a physical gift card or certificate in the mail for the appropriate amount not more than 7 to 10 business days after the ‘point of no return’ has passed (not the date of purchase). If you have not received your physical gift card 10 days after the 'point of no return', please contact us and we'll happily do what's necessary to rectify the situation.

At any point after your purchase, but before the ‘point of no return’ has passed, you may request a complete refund of your original purchase amount(s), and we will issue a refund with no questions asked on the same (or next) business day via the original payment method.

If at any point it becomes obvious that we will be unable to open our doors or proceed with this project, you will be entitled to a full refund by default, which will be issued not more than 48 hours of this being known and announced by us. For better peace of mind, this sunsets no later than September 1st, 2026.

We will never reduce your refund amount by fees incurred by us for handling any related transactions.

Any gift cards purchased between September 21st, 2025 at 12:00 noon and October 31st, 2025 at 12:00 noon qualify to receive a 100% bonus of the amount purchased added in future value to the the issued gift card. For example, a $100 gift card purchased during this period would result in a $200 gift card issued later (after the ‘point of no return’).

Bonus offers do not apply to refunds whatsoever (only as a future additional credit, once converted).

If on your very first visit to Circa Nada there is a line or wait for a table, and you are using an advance-purchased gift card, please let us know, and we will prioritize you as if you were next in the cue. Thank you very much for being one of the first in line to purchase a gift card!

The minimum purchase is $25.00 CAD.

To protect recipients from themselves (lost cards, etc.) the maximum gift card value allowed on one card is not more than $250.00 CAD.

You may purchase as many gift cards as you wish so long as the total amount purchased in one transaction does not exceed $9,999.99 CAD.

The method of payment preferred by Circa Nada is Interac e-Transfer, so as to avoid any additional merchant fees for processing the transaction. However, you may also pay by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, etc.) or also by bank transfer, which will be done securely via Intuit QuickBooks and without giving this information to us directly. 

Thank you for your trust in us. Your funds will be held in a separate business savings account at Scotiabank on Robson and never used by us for any purpose until the ‘point of no return’ has passed. 

Once the 'point of no return' has passed and your gift card has been issued, we are free to use these funds at our sole discretion, as per normal.

Except the "Rules of Refunds" or terms which might affect them, Circa Nada reserves the right to change or update these terms and conditions at any time and without advance or written notice, particularly as it relates to any bonuses or special offers in place.

Unless you explicitly tell us otherwise, such as you are also subscribed to our promo emails, or you contacted us for another separate reason, the only reason and purpose in which we will use the personal information you provide us to complete your advance purchase is to contact you about your advance purchase. For example, keeping you informed about the 'point of no return', issuing a refund by default because our project is not moving forward, or delivering a physical gift card to its rightful owner.

We will never sell or share your information to a third party.
